Chapman also manages a fleet of privately owned yachts operated by their owners. They manage and service the boats, including regular cleaning, detailing, preventative maintenance, annual engine servicing, electrical upgrades and repairs, shipwright works, annual antifouling and out-of-water shipyard maintenance.

Services
Scheduled Cosmetic Maintenance
Our scheduled cosmetic yacht maintenance plans cover all of your superficial cleaning and detailing requirements, projected over a 12 month period. At Chapman Yachting, we have specialist-trained staff in all aspects of the job. Our structured team of interior detailers, exterior cosmetics crew and gel coat restoration specialists will ensure your vessel presents to the highest possible standard week-to-week, whilst ensuring that the longevity of your asset is maintained.
Major Cosmetic Overhaul & Detailing
Renowned Australia-wide for our level of detail and ability to deliver solutions in yacht detailing, Chapman has the experience, staff and infrastructure to complete any detailing project— no matter the size of the yacht. This includes basic exterior wash-down in between usage,charters or crew downtime.elcoat & paint restoration and protection applications, machine polishing and wet sanding, large scale yacht detailing services, stainless steel buffing, teak decking and varnish rejuvenation or even bilge and tank cleaning. We have the capacity and knowledge to get the job done.
Preventative Maintenance & Engineering
Our managed fleet of yachts are all monitored, maintained and serviced periodically by our engineering and servicing department. A technical manager is assigned to each yacht to provide the necessary servicing, preventative maintenance, engineering and support to your yacht day-to-day. Having this component of service in-house ensures the highest level of reliability, creates peace of mind and confidence for the owner and operator, reduces unnecessary failures and down time, saves on overall servicing costs, and improves resale value.
Account Management
Transparency and value are important to every yacht owner. Our yacht managers and accounts teams are experienced in managing vessel related accounts, contract negotiation, tradespeople and subcontractors, external expenses, forecasting expected costs, producing itemised budgets and reports, and keeping the owner frequently in the loop and up to date with vessel expenditures so there are no surprises.
Yacht Refit
Finding the right people to execute a specific job or manage a complicated yacht refit upgrade can be daunting. At Chapman, we’ve seen it all. With over 60 years joint experience in project managing, servicing and maintaining high end performance power boats, world leading sports cruisers, production motor yachts and superyachts, Chapman has the knowledge, network, partnerships and the right people off-hand to ensure your fault, upgrade, refit, or overhaul is executed in an on time and efficient manner whilst ensuring the highest standards are achieved.
Antifouling & Routine Shipyard Maintenance
Yacht antifouling, prop speed applications, out-of-water servicing and underwater maintenance are a primary line of work within Chapman. With our own boat antifouling facility inhouse and a team of maintenance staff, engineers and an enormous circle of industry leading tradespeople and subcontractors, we provide customers a true end-to-end service in this line of work.
